нужно пересобрать ядро 2.4.20-alt5 из дистра
нужно в спеке выбрать только сборку BOOT ядра
а в соответствующем конфиге отметить, чтобы собрался нужный модуль
потом взять отдельно этот модуль и до разбивки диска подсунуть его инсталлятору
с дискеты
Но после загрузки ядро опять его может не увидеть, вместе с рутовой партицией
Я решил это так.
у меня есть репозитарий с несколькими новыми ядрами, в которых есть
нужные мне драйвера
после установки я загрузился в rescue и опять подсунул свой модуль
потом подмонтировал все созданные партиции и сделал chroot в свою инсталляцию
потом скачал нужное ядро и поставил его
даже mkinitrd отработал нормально, только немного лишнего позапихал
потом можно поправить /boot/grub/menu.lst, так как туда все прописывается в расчете на
rescue, там много лишнего в параметрах ядра нужно убрать и root правильный поставить
после этого загрузилось нормально
Если знать как, то очень быстро...
