Какой из compact вы использовали? Насколько мне позволяло время и возможности
я убедился в том что desctop/server решения позволяют в большнстве случаев
использовать compact для новых компьютеров. Причём самый свежий из них я не
испльзовал, ограничивался октябрьским за прошлый 2003 год. Ноуты под рукой
достаточно старые , но я думаю имеет смысл понять то, что альт предпочитает
_законченые_ решения для большинства пользователей, к которым пользователи
ноутбуков не относятся(пока?). Для вас есть шанс использовать на собственый
риск ядра 2.6 , но только и исключительно на собственый риск. Надеюсь скоро
они действительно появяться в Сизифе, но до официального релиза
_дестрибутива_ пользоваться ими я бы вас поостерег. Так что стоит дождаться
официального релиза Мастера, даже если это получиться не скоро. Идеология -
"надежность превыше всего" слава Богу всё ещё является предпочитаемой в *nix!
