При попытке скомпилить что-либо под GTK выдается на стадии ./configure:
*** Could not run GTK+ test program, checking why...
*** The test program failed to compile or link. See the file config.log
for the
*** exact error that occured. This usually means GTK+ is incorrectly
installed.
configure: error: *** GTK >= 2.0.6 not installed! ***
Кому интересно - могу гораздо больше логов запостить.
Предложения "установить libktk+2-devel" не принимаю ввиду явной их
очевидности. :-D

В файле config.log обычно содержится текст программы,
на котором конфигуратор споткнулся. Скопируйте его
оттуда и попытайтесь скомпилировать вручную.
(Какой командой там тоже указано.)
