Здравствуйте!
Есть у меня дистрибутив Linux-Mandrake Russian Edition Spring 2001 (ядро
2.2.19). Хочу запустить его на 486 (нужно собрать роутер с поддержкой
multilink PPP). Ядро придется пересобрать для i486 (это понятно), а как
быть с пакетами ?

Никак. Возьмите однодискетный дистрибутив для маршрутизаторов
какой лучше... (coyote приходит на память)

Freesco стоит на 5-ти роутерах уже о-о-очень долго (начиная с первой
версии), классная штука. Но ядро там 2.0.х , нет поддержки Multilink PPP.
По совету Michael Shigorin скачал coyote, буду разбираться .

аа, multilink я и не заметил =) Тогда можно floppyfw
(www.zelow.no/floppyfw). Там есть.
