Про водружение М2.2 на SATA диск можете почитать в сизифовой рассылке под
топиком "kernel 2.4.22-alt12 on Master2.2" от 9 декабря прошлого года.
Это были мои разборки с М2.2 на материнке MS-6728 (чипсет 865PE) с SATA-диском.
После обновления ядра из сизифа - вот уже месяц полет нормальный,
нареканий к работе диска нет (какой-то Seagate на 80 Гб). Машинка, правда,
не файловый сервер, а мой рабочая станция.
