Какая-то трудноуловимая ошибка - возникает, похоже, только при
обновлении старых систем, да и то не каждый раз.
А пакеты bootloader-utils и mkinitrd обновились раньше, чем пакет
ядра?

Похоже, старый diskdrake не переносит изменений в формате
/proc/scsi/scsi, сделанных в новом ядре (раньше строки Removable не
было). Ох уж эта каша перловая :(

Должен быть на /dev/scd0 - разве что по каким-то причинам не работает
