Введите
uname -a
и прочитайте версию ядра, которое вы грузите.

rpm -qa | grep alsa

Это зависит от ваших возможностей. Надо понять, какой версией
alsa поддерживает звук на вашей плате, достаточно ли того, что у
вас есть. Если это сложно, можно просто поставить последнее ядро
из Сизифа.
