Диск 1: kernel24-smp-2.4.20-alt5.i586.rpm
Но подобные вопросы лучше задавать apt-get - выполните apt-cdrom add
для всех дисков дистрибутива и потом используйте apt-cache и apt-get
для установки пакетов.
Если были установлены другие пакеты с модулями ядра (например,
alsa24-up), необходимо установить их версии для smp-ядра (alsa24-smp).

Информация для заставки (/etc/issue, /etc/issue.net) генерируется при
первой загрузке системы и в дальнейшем автоматически не обновляется.
Точнее, подставляются текущие значения только для части полей -
hostname (\n), date (\d), line (\l), а остальная информация пишется
прямо в /etc/issue. В /etc/rc.d/init.d/local эти файлы пересоздаются
только в том случае, если их не было.
