Если используется vesafb, попробуйте его отключить - добавьте при
загрузке параметр ядра vga=normal. Возможно, просто не хватает
адресного пространства ядра для фреймбуфера.
С ядром kernel24-up из M2.2 использовать весь 1 Гб памяти не
получится - оно собрано без поддержки HIGHMEM. Придётся ставить
kernel24-smp.
