$ rpm -qa | grep XFree
1. смотришь список пакетов
2. идешь ко мне на фтп, сливаешь из /pub/shrek/ALTLinux/master22/RPMS.master/
одноименные пакеты
3. устанавливаешь
4. правишь /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 и переименовываешь его в XF86Config

может. может все дело в том же XF86Config-4
