Доброго времени суток всем.
Прошу помощи решить следующую задачку.
Дано:
1. Acer TraverMate 723TXV (Notebook). 128 MB RAM, PII-400 Mhz, etc.
2. ALTLinux Master 2.2 up to Sisyphus (сегодняшний релиз).
3. Ядро 2.4.22-up, установлены модули сенсоров.
Необходимо выяснить:
1. Почему при загрузке машины через несколько секунд после старта
сервиса lm_sensors намертво вешается система.
2. Почему при загрузке машины (где-то через раз) система вешается
на старте сервиса Sound. Модуль звука: nm256_audio. (lm_sensors в
данной ситуации не грузятся принципиально).
P.S. Сенсоры и звук настроены. Руки - чисто субъективно ровные.

Не совсем точно указано ядро - в Сизифе сейчас есть варианты std-up и
wks-up; также нужно знать номер сборки ("сегодняшний Сизиф" - понятие
растяжимое, с учётом задержки расползания файлов по зеркалам и т.п.).
Требуется вывод как минимум uname -r (а лучше uname -a - а то потом
выясняются всякие фокусы, например, если кто-то пересобирал ядро без
изменения release).

На каком ядре это раньше работало нормально?
Загрузите систему с новым ядром, отключив мешающие модули, и покажите
вывод dmesg и lspci -vv. Также необходимо выяснить, какие модули из
lm_sensors используются (/etc/sysconfig/sensors, /etc/modules.conf);
что записано в /etc/modules.
Если включается ACPI, попробуйте частично или полностью отключить его
поддержку (или поддержку APIC) одним из следующих наборов парамеров
ядра:
acpi_irq_nobalance
pci=noacpi
noapic
nolapic
acpi=off
acpi=off noapic
acpi=off noapic nolapic

Ни на каком. Сначала ставим ALTLinux Master 2.2 - не работает. Апгрейдим
все кроме ядра,
еснна, ничего не меняется. Ставим ядро поновее - картинка та же.

Прилагаю все вышезапрошенные файлы.
Модуль звука удалось загрузить без проблем пару раз используя
acpi_irq_nobalance. НО, при загрузке микшера (aumix) он вываливается.
Сенсоры не заработали с этими параметрами для ядра.

Понятно... всё совсем древнее, с ACPI возиться бесполезно. Т.е. все
те параметры на этой машине ничего не дадут.

А в BIOS какие есть настройки, относящиеся к звуку? Перепишите их
оттуда.
Вообще этот драйвер весьма проблемный...

sensors-detect сработал не лучшим образом...
Все pcf* явно надо убирать, да и eeprom тоже не особенно нужен. Т.е.
оставьте в этом файле:
MODULE_0=i2c-piix4
MODULE_1=adm1021
Возможно, после этого виснуть перестанет.

И эту строку из modules.conf тогда тоже можно убрать.
