ну желательно добавлять еще один ключик
--disable-runtime-cpudetection, чтобы твой mplayer знал о
существовании процессора ни только с поддержкой MMX, но и с
"Скомпилировано для x86 CPU со следующими расширениями: MMX MMX2
3DNow 3DNowEx SSE".
