Меня не поняли.
Факты:
Ядро 2.4.20-alt10 появилось в update'ах 26 сентября этого года, с
исправленной дыркой в ядре.
Ядра 2.4.21 и 2.4.22 периодически выпускались в sisyphus'е.

Исправление для дистрибутивов ALT Linux Master 2.0, ALT Linux "Утёс-К",
ALT Linux Master 2.2 и ALT Linux Junior 2.2 содержится в обновлении

Для пользователей репозитория ALT Linux Sisyphus обновления доступны

Почему?
Почему для 2.4.20 исправления были черт знает когда, и о дырки
security-announce не сообщало?
Почему, зная о дырке в 2.4.20, ее допустили в 2.4.22?
Это случайность или как?
