Странно. У меня каждая сессия начинается таким образом:
-bash-2.05b$ /usr/local/sbin/fetchnews -vvv
2.15: verbosity level is 3
Connecting to news.online.ru.
LIST ACTIVE done only 735111 seconds ago, skipping
Т.е. никакого обновления списка групп новостей не было уже девять
дней. Может Вам надо посмотреть на значение timeout_active в
config? У меня = 14.
И мне кажется противоестественным желание не обновлять список
групп. А может там что-то жутко интересное появилось?
