Всем привет.
В Linux не силен, поэтому прошу прощения, если для большинства мои вопросы
покажутся глупыми. Надеюсь что на многие из них ответят.
1. Кто нибудь знает когда выйдет ALT Linux 2.3
2. Летом купил новый модем ZyXEL UNO (USB), как его подключить в Linux.
3. Не посоветуете какую нибудь нормальную книжку по Linux и его настройке.

Этого никто не знает никогда, но по статистике это обычно случается весной :)

В этом месяце что-от было в рассылке. Что-от надо обновить и всё станет работать само.

Документация на русском на 1-ом CD или прилагаемые книги.
Они толковые. (лежат и на фтп)

Пакажите содержимое /proc/bus/usb/devices при включённом модеме (там
видны идентификаторы USB-устройств) - тогда можно будет понять,
поддерживается ли он, и что надо делать.
