Hi! community!
переустановил win98 потом востановил grub, но раньше была графичаская
заставка а сейчас текстовая.как вернутьграфическую:)?

для этого в конфиге граба (/boot/grub/menu.lst) должна иметь место такая
строчка:
gfxmenu (hd0,0)/boot/splash/Compact/message
где (hd0,0) - раздел на котором лежит splash, определённый в
/boot/grub/device.map,
а /boot/splash/Compact/message - путь к splash на этом разделе :-)
P.S. не забудь выполнить
#cd /boot/grub/
sh install.sh
