Имеем в наличии: FlexDrive, контроллер USB2, диск в драйве виден,
монтируется. Но подключается по протоколу USB1, скорость
соответственно аховая. Как бы заставить систему подключаться по USB2?

Так FlexiDrive и заточен под USB 1.1. Так на упаковке и написано, да и
в листке-инструкции тоже. Сам обломался на этом.
