Коллеги,

есть проблема с сабжем. Установил с диска Junior2.2.
Запустил:

# apt-get update

результат - успешно;

# apt-get install rdesktop

результат - успешно;

# apt-get upgrade

depmod: Can't read /boot/System.map-2.4.20-alt10-up

slmdm_kernel-up-2.4.20_2.6.16_i386-alt10 failed, exit
status 1

# apt-get check

2) If you do want to keep multiple versions of that
package, lookup RPM::Allow-Duplicated in the documentation.

(UsePackage2)
E: Problem with MergeList /var/lib/rpm/Packages
E: The package lists or status file could not be parsed
or opened.

Где и что мне теперь починить?

не используйте это
используйте apt-get dist-upgrade

Конкретно здесь сделать
rpm -e slmdm_kernel-up --allmatches
и поставить по новой.
