Обновился из репозитория.
Поставился новый Xine
Но после запуска показывает свою заставку и виснет.
Помогает только kill
Как лечить ?

Запускаете Xine из-под KDE? Если да, то я наблюдал подобную картину на
Compact'ах. Лечится отключением artsd (если я правильно помню "artsdsp
xine" не помогает, хотя попробуйте :-)

Если с включенным arts или esd, то может помочь xine -A (arts|esd)
А вообще xine --help :)
