ext3 не панацея. В какой-то из док (кажется на mke2fs или
fsck(.ext?)) написано, что если Вы не будете проверять систему
при помощи fsck достаточно часто - Вы огребете гораздо больше
проблем чем с нежурналируемой fs. Для примера - в прошлом
месяце на машинке, в которой / смонтирован с опцией sync и,
afair, ext3, я вырубил питание после взвиса, при этом на
запись был открыт файл в /etc.. В итоге весь каталог /etc
давал ioerr. При этом у меня винты живые и без бэдов и не
перегреты - потом проверял. :| IMO - основной плюс ext3 -
быстрый прогон fsck. А журналируемость.. ну не знаю - вон
рейзер тот тоже журналируемый, но периодически от знакомых
слышу - мол поставил рейзер, радовался, потом сбой питания
и.. raiser'овый раздел в глубоком дауне.. =) По сравнению
с ним ext3 гораздо более правильна - себя так не ведет, но
тем не менее fsck требуется. :|
