вы, видимо зря вкатили линуксовый загрущик в MBR
надо было ставить его на логический диск (т.е. не в /dev/hda, а в
/dev/hda2, например) и цыплять его из загрущика XP
ибо хибернат в 2K/XP завязан на загрузщике

см пункт 1
проще главным загрузщиком оставлять виндовый NT loader
меньше проблемм будет при переустановках,
а линуксовый загрузщик ставить на логичекий раздел
