Доброе время суток!
OS ALTLinux Master 2.2 + updates / kernel 2.4.20-alt9-up
Проблема: есть звуковая карточка Aureal Vortex 1 чипсет au8820
скачал ниже приведённый архив, начал устанавливать

> au88xx-1.1.2.tar.gz

Приводится последняя часть установки.

Почемуто возникают проблемы с установкой. Правда в Readme сказано, что 
этот драйвер тестировался
с Red Hat 6.0, kernel version 2.2.5-15
   Red Hat 6.1, kernel version 2.2.12-20
   Red Hat 6.1, kernel version 2.2.13
   Slackware 7.0, kernel version 2.2.16
   Debian 2.2, kernel version 2.4.0
Может ядро не подходит.
Если так, то помогите решить эту проблему другим способом.
Заранее благодарен за помощь .
