Я помню, покупал этот самый ровер с предустановленным ASPLinux.
Так там в инструкции есть предупреждение: мол, устанавливая
Linux самостоятельно, ни в коем случае не ставьте загрузку
X по умолчанию, а сначала поправьте конфиг, потому что тот
драйвер, который выбирается для видеосистемы Sis, на TFT
дисплеи не рассчитан и способен их спалить.
Но потом этот драйвер, насколько мне известно, обновили,
так что новые его версии уже совместимы с ноутбуками,
и вопрос потерял актуальность.
С другой стороны, когда я по ошибке всё-таки запустил иксы
еще с тем, старым, драйвером, то ничего страшного не случилось:
просто сразу стало видно, что ничего не видно.
