Сгенерить новую строчку Modeline и подсунуть в конфиг XFree.

Но придется изрядно покопаться в доках к своему железу, чтобы выяснить
следующие параметры:
1. Монитор: (max|min) vertical(Hz) & horiz.(kHz) freq.
2. Min Refresh rate - то, что тебе нужно. я обычно ставлю 85
Еще нужны значения bandwidth монитора и видеокарты (MHz). Брать нужно
меньшее.
