Нужно указывать как dev=ATAPI:/dev/hd[a-d]
Но я бы не рекомендовал пока пользоваться этой фичей. У меня
потом диски, записанные таким способом, нигде не могли прочесть.
Опять вернул к варианту с эмуляцией.
