У меня вообще страшное подозрение, что ifconfig с route никто никогда не
отменит. ;) А некоторые вещи уже сейчас на 2.4 нельзя сделать обычным route,
плюс не все что создано через ip можно увидеть через route/ifconfig - как-то
мне показывали некую нестыковку.

В итоге метрики работают вне зависимости от утилиты, которой задаются. Что
касаемо документации - а разве я был не прав в своих ответах, когда я описал
свою точку зрения на этот параметр? Если был прав - тогда я лучше что нить еще почитаю.. =)
