Кстати у издательства Питер есть хорошая серия "Классика computer
science", в которой, в том числе, есть книга и по базам данных. Уровень
оценить не могу (только начал читать), но это именно в первую очередь
теория.
Хотя книги Таненбаума из этой же серии у меня вызвали двоякое впечатление
-- с одной стороны масса новой _лично для меня_ информации, с другой
стороны иногда откровенные ляпы.
