Закончилась двухмесячная история с граблением аудио-дисков
на машине с чипсетом VIA 694T + VT82C 868B (socket 370, Tualatin)
Короче, ни в какую не грабились аудио-диски, никакими программами.
Детали в архиве рассылки.
Заменили плату Acorp на Chaintech с тем же чипсетом --
то же самое, аудио-диски не грябятся.
Наконец, поставили плату с чипсетом i815e -- всё грабится.
(продавцы дошли до белого каления :( )
Так что будьте осторожны, платы с IDE-контроллером VT82C 868B
(характерные приметы: туалатин, сокет 370) под линуксом не идут.
Под виндами эти VIA-шные платы правильно работают только после
установки драйверов от производителя. Кошмар.
Есть где-нибудь чёрный список по железу ? :)
