Ну насчет USB-ей не скажу ничего, не пробовал, а вот насчет
оптики - легко, там соббсно и проблем-то нету.
И линукс тут не при чем, у меня стоит SB Live Platinum 5.1 -
брал в том числе и из-за плейера - есть оптические вход выход.
втыкаешь шнурок и пишешь на MD через оптику.
если звук с сидюка - то лучше если на карточку с него попадает
по цифровому кабелю (на сидюке есть выход такой, на карточке - вход)
и всех делов.
