Нет, это физическая организация шины на материнской плате. Надо в мануале на
мать смотреть какие типы памяти поддерживаются и брать такие. Правда не
всегда там это написано. Часто пишут просто PC133 до 512MB, а про организацию
микросхем на планке ни слова. Если в двух словах, то память может набираться
из разных типов микросхем, может быть одно и двухсторонней. Соответственно
более старые матери не поддерживают более новые DIMM.
