Можно ставить хоть двадцать версий OOo, и SO в их числе, и мешать
они друг другу никоим образом не будут.

А что понимается под стартовым меню? Если речь идет о Линуксе, то
при инсталляции можно выбрать флажок "Gnome integration" и
"KDE integration". Опять-таки, это относится ко всем версиям
OOo, включая SO. Для KDE это работает. Для Gnome 1.4 -- тоже.
А вот интеграция с Gnome 2, уж извините, появилась только
в OOo 1.1Beta2, и, соответственно, будет в SO 6.1. Притом
она, по-моему, *не работает* (т. е. ярлыков в меню фактически
не видно). Виноват ли в этом OOo, или Гном -- мнения
расходятся ;-)
