Добрый день.
Возникла такая проблема -- при просмотре mplayer-ом при выборе oss драйвера
возникают щелчки на высоких частотах, при выборе alsa -- задержки, заикания,
и с консоль валиться
alsa-space: xrun of at least 360,876 msecs. resetting stream0,0% 0 0 0%
alsa-space: xrun of at least 10,674 msecs. resetting stream 0,0% 0 0 0%
alsa-space: xrun of at least 20,087 msecs. resetting stream 0,0% 0 0 0%
alsa-space: xrun of at least 18,817 msecs. resetting stream 0,0% 0 0 0%
и т.д...
В списках рассылки mplayer эта трабла встречается, по последнее сообщение
датировано концом 2002 года и разработчики обещали исправить. С тех пор тихо.
Никто с такой проблемой не сталкивался?
В xine все со звуком ок.

Все, кто им пользуется сталкивались. Я решил просто - в настройках звуковых
плагинов МПлейера выбираю "aRTs audio output" и все начинает прелестнейше
пахать. Не надо всяких извращений, типа OSS или ALSA. Ксайн видимо просто
сразу, по умолчанию, через артс играет - вот и не заикается.

У меня был подобный эффект, достиг я его пересборкой ядра (с ним
пересобирается ALSA).
Излечился, собрав все заново, но с более новой alsa.
Все на ALM2.2
