Снова про gphoto2 и камеры.

Камера Olympus C3040Zoom
при подключении распознается (по логам)
и монтируется по USB (как mass storage). 

Но digikam ее видеть не хочет,
говорит Camera Error: Failed to initialize camera.

Если работать через gphoto2, то он распознает ее, как C2040Z

но работать с ней не хочет

если явно указать тип камеры, 
#gphoto2 --camera "Olympus C-3040Z" -l
то то же самое

я правильно понимаю, что ее занимает hotplug?
и работать с ней можно одновременно только через что-то одно?
и если да, то как отключить срабатывание hotplug'а на нее?
