А вот смотрите. В ALT Linux у нас гвоздями прибито
LC_ALL=POSIX. Отключить эту настройку без правки
соответствующего скрипта нельзя, можно только
перекрыть ее другой такой же установкой LC_ALL
в /root/.i18n .
А как в SuSE? Там есть переменная ROOT_USES_LANG.
По умолчанию она равна "ctype", но никто не запрещает
добавить сюда и другие параметры, хотя бы и lang.
Таким образом, для рута есть возможность гибкой
настройки параметров локализации, так что одни
из них будут сброшены, а для других будут
использоваться общесистемные настройки.
Естественно, нет и речи о том, чтобы присваивать
LC_ALL какое бы то ни было значение. Не правда
ли, два совершенно различных подхода?
