За мипс не знаю, а рядовой проц на базе арм жрет всегда меньше с3.

А часть армов может работать хоть L, хоть B.
Соответствующая команда при инициализации и вуаля (омапы от TI например).
Так что револьвер отложи до худших времен (никогда не бывает настолько плохо,
чтоб не было еще хуже :-) ).
