Спасибо! Я уже сам успел разобраться, при помощи гугла, windows
update, хелпа к cups и правки пары конфигов в /etc/cups :)
Да, при указании в адресе строки ipp://name/printers/Printer, винда не
понимает, а вот если http://name/printers/Printer, то всё ОК.
Приятно однако. Узнал новую возможность, о которой ранше не знал. :)
