Subject: [Comm] смонтировать initrd образ в режиме RW

Кто подскажет, как?
мне надо в существующий образ initrd вставить драйвер.
делаю :
gzip -dc /boot/initrd-up.img > /tmp/initrd.ext2
mount -o loop /tmp/initrd.ext2 /mnt/initrd
в результате получаю в директории /mnt/initrd образ с директориями как надо,
но почему-то RO...
т.е. при
cp file /mnt/initrd/file
получаю
"невозможно создать обычный файл - Read-only filesystem"
хотя mount говорит
/tmp/initrd.ext2 on /mnt/initrd rype romfs (rw, loop=/dev/loop0)
ничего не понимаю - тут rw, там реально ro... чего не хватает?
