А я собственно, описал задачу подробно: стоит локальный сервер ICQ Iserverd,
когда заводится юзер в базе (а для запуска скрипта заведения юзера нужно
делать именнно su - postgres - от рута, другого юзера доступа к постгресу
нетути) этому юзеру отправляется мыло вида "вы заведены на сервере, ваш UIN,
пароль такие-то). Так вот, мыло это формируется сначала в каталоге ~/tmp/ а
потом отправляется.
Если завожить юзера скриптом, то не лень сделать su - postgres, но "админ"
аскиного сервера другой, шелл ему давать как-то... Поэтому все делается через
веб-форму, которую я скачал с сайта проекта Iserverd, так вот, там именно su
postgres выполняется, без "минусов".
после алиаса su='su -' все заработало.
