АЛМ2.2 Гр.Адаптер: Intel 830M
если ничего не делать, включается затавка, потом выключается монитор...
А вот дальше - нажимаешь на любую клавишу или трогаешь мышь - на экране
- кавардак: экран делиться на две части, изображение сжимается по
горизонтали примерно вдвое и теряет правильные цвета...
Ввожу пароль заставки, далее заканчиваю (вслепую) сессию Х -
Ctrl+Alt+Del и Enter... После входа в Х'ы всё в порядке.
Может в bios выключить засыпания всякие?

1 - настройки dpms (энергосбережение в bios), там есть метод выключения
монитора - поиграть с параметрами
2 - после настройки попробовать xset, там есть параметр регулировки поведения
dpms.
