Вчера проводил апгред с Master 2.0 до 2.2 на
рабочем сервере и натолкнулься на то что
apcupsd-3.10.1-alt2.i586.rpm отказалься работать
как сервер (UPSCLASS netmaster).
сообщения:
acupsd[8843]: Old network code is disabled
apcupsd[8843]: apcupsd FATAL ERROR in apcupsd.c at line 347 Error setting up master
apcupsd[8843]: apcupsd error shutdown completed
о подобных ошибках уже писали:

Пока вернул apcupsd-3.8.2-alt1 обратно.
P.S.
судя по трассировке валиться от SIGPIPE

В 3.10.* поддержка master-slave по умолчанию выключена. Там есть новый
драйвер net, но он по умолчанию тоже не включается - надо явно писать
--enable-net, что в пакете не сделано.
