Ну первый кеширует запросы к ДНС серверам и сохраняет их на
жестком диске. bind - в кеширующей конфигурации хранит всё
в оперативке и достаточно недолго.
второй позвоялет офлайновое подклчение к веб серверам
см. Руководсво администратора гл.14 стр 151.
