Здравствуйте.
Похоже, виновник моих проблем (см. топик "подвисают иксы (nvidia)" -- тем, кто будет искать поисковиком) всё-таки agpgart и настройки AGP. Поставил в биосе 1X transfer mode вместо 2X, поставил 32 KB (или 32 MB?) Aperture size вместо 64 и всё пока работает стабильно -- квака, колёса, иксы, опера, ...
В обшем вопросы:
1) где настраиваются параметры agpgart? в /etc/modules.conf у меня ничего нет.
2) какие у народа настройки для nvidia?
