(не проблема конечно - хотя у меня и виртуальные консоли отсутствуют)

Непонял. А какова тут связь?
Вы предлагаете ставить в режиме "Lamer" ?
В Mandrake я Явным образом выбираю "Securety Level" а тут вместо этого тип
установки Expert или не Expert ?
