У мя всё нормально работает. IRDA Tekram 210B, Motorola T260
(была).
/etc/sysconfig/irda:
---------------------------
IRDA=yes
DEVICE=/dev/ttyS0
DONGLE=tekram
DISCOVERY=yes
---------------------------
Этого достаточно. Если у тебя тоже 210B модель, то там косяки со
скоростями. Мне пришлось в init-скрипте irda прописать после
запуска irattach следующую строчку:
echo 38400 > /proc/sys/net/irda/max_baud_rate
