ATTENTION!!!!
Этот модем НЕ РАБОТАЕТ под Linux. Проверялось лично. Благо менеджер
отдела продаж успел меня заверить в том, что драйвера под все ОС есть на
прилагаемом диске (в том числе под линукс) - их там естественно не
оказалось - и ему пришлось, исправляя свою оплошность, доставать из
"заначки" Etherner-версию (на витрине было написано что закончились).
А так я рекомендую вам купить полноценный модем Lucent Cellpipe (на
сайте был список совместимых с точкой.ру модемах, там всего девять
пунктов). Но он дороже $100. :-(
Так как скорость жестко на "рулезных" тарифах обрублена на 128Кбит,
то полноценно себя этот модем не проявит. Зато полностью совместим с
Линуксом :-)
