На ноуте Thinkpad a21m. LTmodem. Без собранного на этом же ноуте ядра не ставился
принципиально. Да и вмварь тоже, несмотря на уверения, что им обоим хватает только заголовков.
Вот что сказал модем после компиляции из сорцев и инсталяции:
./autoload: line 277: sleep3: command not found
Запускаю проверялку
./ksp.sh
....трата-та......

A kernel-source RPM is not installed
Ideally you need kernel-source-2.4.20-alt5-up.i386.rpm, though
a package matching the first three digits should suffice
Download and install using:
rpm -ivh kernel-source-2.4.20-alt5-up.i386.rpm
О чём и говорили большевики...
Вмварь - та просто слетает при попытках запустить витрмашинку.
Что-то с гсс 3 и гсс2.96 по-моему ( как художник - художнику:-)).
После сборки ядра - нет АЛСы. При загрузке мелькает сообщение что insmod чего-то там обнаружил не то. И далее отказывается найти модуль cs-46xx.
Хотя карта жива и работает - стоит только поставить официальный кернел. Кстати при этом модем остаётся, а вмварь умирает. Загадка природы.
Очень хочу иметь звук, модем и вмварь одновременно:-)
