Gnome-ppp нормально коннектится с инетом, но нельзя ни почту ни по инету
полазить... Где затык?

А что сообщает? Скорей всего появляется сообщение, что pppd внезапно
умер.....

ага, но это вылазит позже... после 2-3 минут проведенных в инете... А так, коннект естаблишед, но в сеть не попасть... Чего надо настроить?

Одеть uid бит на /usr/sbin/pppd и посмотреть права на /dev/modem

что значить надеть? =) посмотрел mc права на него, вроде все одето... а /dev/modem права даны всем на запись/чтение что еще надо править?
