Скачал WineX-2.2.1-alt3.20021113.src.rpm.
Делаю rpm -i WineX-2.2.1-alt3.20021113.src.rpm
но пакет не устанавливается (но ничего не
сообщается).
Что я не так делаю ?

Почему не устанавливается?

src.rpm надо пересобирать -- rpm --rebuild WineX*src.rpm
но для этого может понадобиться пачка других пакетов...

добавить себя в группу rpm, поставить пакет rpm-build
