Здравствуйте!
Напомню - этот вопрос обсуждался осенью. Речь шла о том, что на
ряде материнок с чипсетом KT333 (например, EPoX 8K3AE), стоящих в
ATX корпусе, не происходит выключение питания по poweroff, что
вынуждало пользоваться кнопкой Power на системном блоке. В моем
конкретном случае все вылечилось в итоге прошивкой BIOS'а. В
рассылке уже было сообщение, что на EP-8K3A+ все работает. Таким
образом, можно думать, что для EPoX'ов решение проблемы состоит в
установке максимально свежей версии BIOS, не исключено, что это
может сработать и для других материнок.
P.S. За все приходится платить: обновление BIOS'а оказалось для
WinME выстрелом в затылок - упал, не вскрикнув, и не подает
признаков жизни. Я люблю Линукс!!!
