Я не знаю, в каких форматах хранит почту Evo, но вероятно проще всего поднять
IMAP сервер и забрать с Evo почту через этот сервер.
Если Kmail хранит почту в формате mbox, то подойдет uw-imap, если (как по
умолчанию в последних версиях) в maildir -- то courier-imap.

Можно ускорить запуск кдешных программ из под не-kde оболочек, если запускать
соответствующие сервисы заранее. Пропишите автоматический запуск при старте
LD_BIND_NOW=true kdeinit +kcminit +knotify
(И если Вы используете что-нибудь еще , например artsd -- тоже пропишите.)
Это несколько замедлит скорость запуска самого fluxbox-а, зато kde-шные
программы будут запускаться быстрее.
